How do you apply fake eyelashes?

False eyelashes, you have them in all shapes and sizes, but how do you apply them? It may seem a bit difficult, but it is actually not that difficult. If you follow these steps, applying them will be much easier!
Step 1: Cut the false eyelashes to the correct length
Take the false eyelashes out of the box, using an applicator or tweezers. Make sure you hold the left one in front of your left eye, because there is a difference between left and right. The side where the eyelashes are a little shorter is the side that should be on the inside of your eye.
Hold the false eyelashes above your eye and measure if the eyelash is not too wide. The eyelash should be a little shorter than the end of your own eye, otherwise it can look like you have droopy eyes. And of course you don't want that ;-).
If the eyelash is a little too long, you can easily cut off the rest with small (nail) scissors.
Step 2: Apply the glue
Once you have trimmed the lashes to size, apply a little glue to the edge of the false lash. Let the glue dry for about 20 seconds. This way, the glue is no longer super wet, but a little sticky. If the glue is too wet, the lash can easily shift and that makes for a less beautiful end result.
Step 3: Stick it on and you're done!
After those 20 seconds, when the glue has dried a bit, stick the lash on. Stick the lash on the end first. This way you know for sure that the lash is exactly right and does not stick out on the outside. Also make sure that you stick the lash as close to your own lashes as possible, this way you get the most natural effect.
You should not stick the false eyelashes on your own eyelashes, then the false eyelash can fall off quickly and does not look nice and natural. Press the eyelashes for a few more seconds after you have stuck them on with the applicator or tweezers.
When your lashes are completely in place, they may still feel a little strange, but that is normal! That feeling should go away within a few minutes. If it has not gone away after 10 minutes, it is best to take the lashes off and stick them back on.
Eyelash curler
You can also curl your lashes with an eyelash curler . This way, your own lashes and the false lashes will have exactly the same shape and they will look a little more natural. You can also add a lick of mascara for an extra dramatic effect!
If you want to use your lashes multiple times, it is better not to apply mascara over them. It is better to apply mascara to your own lashes before you start.
