How often should you wash your hair?

One says you should wash your hair daily, the other every two days or only once a week. You see, opinions differ greatly. We can agree on one thing: not washing your hair at all is not really the solution.
Why not wash daily?
The best advice we can give you is not to wash your hair every day. Daily showering is recommended. If you wash your hair every day, your hair will dry out or even break in the worst case. The small layer of fat on your scalp is actually good and protects your skin and ensures suppleness.
Do you shower more often because you do a lot of sports? Then we advise you to set the temperature of the shower a bit lower. That is better for your hair and for the bill ;-)
Okay, but how often should I wash it?
Do you have fine hair? Then you can wash your hair 2 to 3 times a week, because fine hair gets greasy faster.
If you have thick hair , the best advice is to wash your hair 1 to 2 times a week.
Get rid of greasy hair!
The above tips are just guidelines and are not set in stone. Have you been doing intensive sports or are you on holiday and is it very warm there? Then it might be wise to wash your hair a little more often. You will also notice that your hair gets greasy faster. Do you wash your hair every day and do you find it quite a lot to suddenly reduce washing? Then make sure you gradually reduce it.
A good product to use for your hair is a dry shampoo!
Dry shampoo is a great invention that makes your hair look washed without actually having to wash it, nice! You spray the powder on your hair roots and gently massage it into your scalp. The powder absorbs the natural hair sebum and your hair looks fresh and washed. And it smells delicious too!
Extra tip! Clean your hair brush regularly so that you do not spread unnecessary grease from your scalp through your hair.
