A blush can do a lot for your makeup look. Sometimes it gives you that little bit of color you need to finish your look. But which color is right for your skin tone? And what is the perfect blush ? We are happy to help you.
The right blush color can complete your look and make your skin tone glow. It is important to choose a blush color that matches your skin tone. Light skin tones go well with soft and light shades, medium skin tones with both soft and bright shades and dark skin tones with bright and bold colors. Apply the blush to the apples of your cheeks and blend it out towards your temples for a natural look.
Blush for a light skin tone
If you have a light skin tone, choose blush in soft and light shades. Pink and peach shades are good choices. Avoid blush in too dark or bright colors, these can quickly become too dominant and create an unnatural effect.
Blush for medium skin tone
If you have a medium skin tone, you can choose blush in both soft and bright shades. Pink, peach and coral shades often look very nice on a medium skin tone. However, avoid blush in too dark colors, these can look unnatural on a medium skin tone.
Blush for dark skin tone
If you have a dark skin tone, you can opt for blush in bright and striking colours. Plum, cherry red and berry shades are good choices. Avoid blush in too light shades, these can quickly become invisible on a dark skin tone.
