There are many different types of eye shapes and also many different types of ways to apply eyeliner. But which style of eyeliner suits your eyes best and gives you the best result? Read on!
Almond Shaped Eyes
If you have almond eyes, you’re in luck! This versatile eye shape works with almost any eyeliner style. For an everyday look, opt for a subtle line along your upper lash line with a thin eyeliner or pencil . Going for a night out? Try the dramatic cat-eye or add a touch of drama to the outer corners with a sharper wing.
Round Eyes
Round eyes can use a little more definition. Start with a thin line on the inner corner of the eye and gradually build it outwards. Make the line a little thicker and end it in a subtle wing for a lengthening effect.
Drooping Eyelids
For overhanging eyelids, a thicker eyeliner is ideal. This makes the eyelid look more visible and visually lifts the eyes. Choose a striking glitter eyeliner or a color that matches the eye color to add extra dimension.
Slightly Droopy Eyes
Slightly droopy eyes could use a boost. Start by applying a highlighter to the inner corners of your eyes to brighten them up. Then create a cat-eye effect by drawing a line from the highest point of your brow outwards. This will lift your eyes and make them look less droopy.
Eyes Too Close Together
Want to optically enlarge the space between your eyes? Apply the eyeliner halfway up the eye and work outwards. This will make the eyes appear further apart. Slightly blend the line at the end for a softer effect.
Eyes that are far apart
Do your eyes need more space? Start the eyeliner from the beginning of the upper lash line and extend it to the lower lash line. This makes the eyes appear closer together and visually reduces the distance.
