Cleaning your makeup brushes:

Cleaning your makeup brushes is essential for maintaining healthy skin and extending the lifespan of your brushes. We recommend cleaning your brushes thoroughly at least once a week to prevent the buildup of bacteria that could contaminate your skin.

Step 1: Clean your brush

Hold your brush under lukewarm running water. Make sure no water gets into the ferrule, as moisture can weaken the glue holding the bristles. Apply cleanser to your palm or a Brush Cleansing Mat and gently swirl the bristles in circular motions. You can also clean the brush with the Brush & Sponge Cleansing Soap & Pad.

Step 2: Rinse thoroughly

Rinse the brush well under lukewarm water until all cleanser is removed and the water runs clear. Gently squeeze out the excess water with your fingers.

Step 3: Reshape the brush

Carefully reshape the bristles to their original form. Then slide a Brush Protector over the brush, starting at the handle and sliding toward the bristles to maintain their shape.

Step 4: Let it dry

Place the brush on a clean towel to dry. Ideally, lay it at an angle with the bristles facing downward by placing a rolled-up towel under the handle.

Step 5: Disinfect

If desired, lightly mist your brush with Brush Cleanser for disinfection.
