'Protect your skin from the sun, even when the sun is not shining', this is the best tip we can give you. But what are the do's and don'ts when using SPF ?

DO

Use enough sunscreen, and don't forget your feet, hands, ears, lips and neck. These are often forgotten places. Reapply your sunscreen every two hours, especially if you've been swimming in between.

DON'T

The sun is shining, you want to apply sunscreen and use the bottle you used last year. Don't do it! Your sunscreen is probably out of date. It is super important to look at the expiration date with SPF. A sunscreen or other SPF that is out of date no longer protects against the sun.

DO

Don't look at the price of the sunscreen, the more expensive the better. Look closely at the sun filters and ingredients instead of the brand or the price. Looking for good and budget proof SPF products? Then click here.

DON'T

Nowadays there are quite a few make-up products on the market with an SPF in it, but this will not protect your face enough in the sun. In addition, always use a day cream or sunscreen with a high SPF to protect your skin well.

DO

Are you not such a sun worshipper? Do you like to lie under a parasol in the shade? Then don't forget to put on sunscreen, because even in the shade the sun can be strong.

DON'T

Don't assume that sunscreen is only necessary if you have fair skin. Everyone needs protection, regardless of your skin type.

DO

Don't wait until you're on the beach to apply it, apply it beforehand so that the cream can be absorbed into the skin for at least 15 minutes. This will provide the best protection.
